The WCA is calling for Expressions of Interest for membership in a newly formed Government Relations Standing Committee (GRSC). We are seeking 5-6 WCA members to take a leading role in the Association’s advocacy and representation activities for the industry.

This committee will meet quarterly and report to the WCA Board via the Committee Chair and have a significant influence in developing WCA policy priorities and activities into the future.

Government Relations Standing Committee activities
The Government Relations Committee will review existing and proposed legislation in relation to its possible effects on the construction industry; and make recommendations to the WCA Board or Executive Committee regarding important policy positions for the industry.
